Halloween Wrap-Up, Part 1
Hey kids.
In a previous post, I asked for readers out there to send us Halloween-themed pictures (ideally, you wearing our shirts as part of your costume). Sadly, I haven’t received a single submission, which means that I will be claiming the FREE T-SHIRT that I promised to the best entry.
In lieu of costumer-generated pics, let me share some of my own. The good company man that I am, I took my sartorial cues straight from The 3rd Annual Found Item Clothing Halloween Costume Guide, and lived life, for one night at least, as the character Stiles from Teen Wolf. For those that haven’t seen that fine flick in some time, here’s what I was aiming for:
And this is what I wound up with, having purloined an element or two from my girlfriend’s closet:
You’ll notice that I kinda freelanced with the leather jacket (hey, it’s my costume and Stiles, I’m sure, would no doubt approve), but the t-shirt, blue pants and red belt are true to form (natch). Not everyone picked up on my outfit (it’s not all that different from my usual garb), but this fellow in the furry costume most certainly did:
Reunited with Teen Wolf, and it feels so good…
For the record, this was a completely random encounter at The Matador, an infamous night spot here in Portland, Oregon.
It’s not too late to send me pictures (embarrassing or whatnot). Aim them my way: travis@founditemclothing.com.
