By customer request (thanks Travis!), we are proud to introduce the Cru Jones costume, one of seven new additions to the 2009 FIC Halloween Costume Guide. Cru cycles through a number of wardrobe changes in this film (pun intended), and our ace costume checklist incorporates elements of each.
First, you'll need the Rad Racing tee, undoubtedly the most awesome element of this ensemble.
Next, team with a pair of faded blue jeans.
Don't forget about sneaks; Cru wears black Chuck Taylors, but for our purposes we subsituted a pair that was navy blue.
Now the fun stuff. Rip it up on a vintage BMX.
We borrowed one from a friend, but eBay has a nice assortment of rides for sale.
Take it from me: you should always wear a bike helmet. Gloves and elbow pads too.
And the pièce de résistance: Cru's signature red bandana.
Extra credit: accessorize with a box of Kix, Cru's preferred breakfast cereal of choice.
