As we all know, the last good Rocky film was the fourth entry. Playing on timely Cold War tropes, the movie turned on the death of franchise stalwart Appolo Creed, done in at the hands of Ivan Drago, a hulking, Russian antagonist noted for his detached emotional state and fists of concrete. After an extended training montage (replete with motivational music), Rock gains a measure of revenge (and redemption), but not before Drago, portrayed here by a menacing Dolph Lundgren, utters a deliberately wooden one-liner for the ages between rounds: "I Must Break You!"
