Donkey Kong: it's simple really. There's a princess, the digitized damsel-in-distress. And a huge ape, your would-be foil and a prolific barrel tosser. And a series of seemingly never-ending ramps, ladders, and platforms that you must successfully navigate to rescue her.
If, as they say, every journey begins with a single step, then this shirt - which features a screen shot of the very first level from a staple of early 80's gaming - is ground zero for what has become a truly global phenomenon (and obsession).
It's an image almost every self-respecting gamer can identify with, leading us to our last point. To mangle one of those truly ubiquitous pop-lite catchphrases, throw your arms through this tee and literally - it'll be on like Donkey Kong (groan...).
