seen in Summer School
Summer School is one of those movies that was on every afternoon when I got home from school. I think I've seen it about three hundred times. On a tip from a friend I recently watched it to check out a shirt, and I still enjoyed that three hundred and first viewing. It's that good.
Unfortunately, Summer School has been robbed of the recognition it deserves; it's one of the 80's finest teen comedies. This is no doubt Mark Harmon's finest performance as Freddy Shoop, and Chainsaw and Dave are amazing. Their fashion sense is particularly impressive. Nothing is as cool as wearing a leopard-print beret, shorts with suspenders and a "First Mate" t-shirt. Whenever I go drinking at the beach it's my First Mate t-shirt or nothing.
