My Weekend, In A Nutshell
Friday, November 21st, 2008Deerhunter rocks!
The Atlanta-based quintet is playing Saturday night at the Hawthorne Theater, a concert hall here in Portland, Oregon, to support their solid new disc, Microcastle. Newest Watchmen Trailer Is Boss
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008OMG!!! March 6, 2009 can’t come fast enough…
To the delight of comic book geeks everywhere, the newest Watchmen trailer was unveiled this month at the Spike TV Scream Awards. Though some of the footage overlaps with the first trailer that was attached earlier this summer to The Dark Knight, there are some new, previously unseen money shots that will draw in both longtime diehards and new fans alike.
For those that don’t know, Watchmen promises to be the sci-fi/comic book/action movie event of next year. Based on the legendary graphic novel of the same name, the film is being directed by Zack Zynder, who is best known as the visionary responsible for well-received eye candy like 2006’s 300 and prior to that, the 2004 remake of the Dawn of the Dead.
