There are no shortage of blogs and online forums dedicated to t-shirts; by one estimate, there are more than 100 such sites. One of my personal favorites is Thunderfrogs, a U.K.-based site that aims the spotlight on unique tees with sci-fi, cinematic and action-adventure motifs from around the globe. In the course of the last year, I’ve developed a friendly relationship with Andy, the editor of said site, mostly via e-mail and the occasional Facebook chat. I recently sent him some general questions about tee blogging and he graciously took the time to respond with thoughtful answers, which I’ve posted below. Thanks again, Andy!

As if our Facebook page wasn’t enough, Found Item has extended its presence on the Internet with a Twitter account. If you haven’t heard, the tremendously popular website is a “service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?”

We’ll use it every so often to post info about new products, share office gossip and riff on whatever is occupying our time. Follow us here.

Earlier this month, I told you about a contest that FIC was co-sponsoring along with Color Overload, which incidentally is a highly-trafficked t-blog that has recently unveiled fantastic, animal-themed designs at its webstore.

I’ve just been notified by Andy, the editor of Thunderfrogs, an influential U.K.-based tee shirt blog and the organizer of said competition, that the lucky winners have been determined.

As you’ll learn in his post, two entrants were selected at random. Their prize? The FIC tee of their choice.

Tim G., of San Francisco has chosen the Caduceus tee; meanwhile, Aeric W. of Japan has elected to receive the Mumford top, fine selections both. I commend the victors for their good taste. I’ve embedded pics of both below, so you can see for yourself.

After much debate and heated procrastination, we’ve finally constructed a Facebook page for Founditemclothing.com and our sister sites, Bunnyslippers.com and Usefulthings.com. If you’re a happy customer and want to help spread the word about FIC, show us some love and befriend us.

We’ll bring word of news, new products, office gossip, the occasional product sighting, sales (however rare), and so much more, including exclusive content and contests for FB friends. This page will also provide a forum for loyal fans to submit pictures and videos of themselves rocking FIC gear (and looking good in the process).
