Assorted Web Threads

Good morning friends. Today’s post is a round-up of some exciting FIC-related developments, as reported by other tee sites on the web.

First off, Andy at Thunderfrogs — an informative U.K.-based tee blog that focuses on movies, t.v. programs, and other sci-fi properties — gave our Green Skeleton top a nice plug here. We like his site so much that we’ve decided to return the favor and co-sponsor Thunderfrogs’ 1st Anniversary Competition.

You can get all the details at his site, but to enter, you must provide a fairly simple nugget of 80′s trivia. Respond with the correct answer and you’ll be eligible to take home the FIC garment of their choice — for free! As Andy notes on his site, the contest “closes 28th November – [and] two winners will be drawn at random from all correct entries.”

Thanks again, Andy.

In another positive development, the peeps at troundup had effusive praise for our Bushwood shirt:

“There are a bunch of Caddyshack shirts out there, but this is the best quality one I could find. It’s from the awesome guys over at Found Item Clothing, who’ve got some great pop culture shirts. It’s also on American Apparel, compared to many of the other companies who print on low quality shirts.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Finally, we’ve had It Goes to 11 added to teereader, a t-blog aggregator that collects and centralizes posts from around the Internet. This site functions as a one-stop clearinghouse for reviews, news, designs, and designers; it also proffers a wealth of practical information for aspiring t-shirt entrepreneurs. It has simplified my job and I can’t recommended it enough. Naturally, we’re stoked to join this online t-community.
